HAUL / DUMP / SERVICE:
These are all terms for having your compactor / container taken to the landfill, emptied and returned to you.
OPTIMIZATION:
This is the art of filling your container to it's maximum capacity. Full containers are hauled or dumped less times per year and that reduces the charge for transporting the compactor / container. Money in your budget!
FALSE FULLS:
"False Fulls" are when the compactor has a spike in pressure, which shows on the pressure gauge and/or sets off the indicators on its control panel to say it is full.
This can be from debris inside the compactor, a missed limit switch or a hose not hooked up properly.
Now someone calls the hauler to haul/dump the container because it appears that it is ready, when in fact it is not. And that costs you money!
ADVANCED WARNING:
This is an advanced warning of impending container fullness. This advanced warning gives the hauler time to come to site to haul/dump your container / compactor before it is over-full.
Most companies have a "next day" service level so we set the advanced warning to give 1 day before the compactor / container is 100% full.
100% FULL:
This means your compactor / container can no longer handle anymore product. Adding more product can result in an over-full or over-weight compactor / container. See below.
OVER-FULL OR OVER-WEIGHT:
If you fill your compactor / container with too much product there is a chance it will be too heavy for the route truck. This means one of 2 things; you either have to pay to have product removed from the compactor / container or the hauler has to bring a special truck designed to handle the weight. This can cost in the thousands!
PRESSURE ISSUE:
Pressure issues can cause false-fulls as most compactor systems will monitor pressure to indicate fullness of the container. If there is a spike in pressure it will look like the container is ready to be hauled. Our A.N.T.S. system monitors for pressure issues and knows the difference between a false-full and a true advanced warning state. Saving your budget again!
